Lobbying / Legislative Work

OCDLA’s dedicated legislative committee, assisted by two committed lobbyists, work hard to make OCDLA’s voice heard in Salem. Our legislative work focuses on protecting public defense funding, drafting and promoting legislation beneficial to the criminal justice system and protecting the constitutional and statutory rights of those accused of crime.

Building Campaign

Since it’s inception in 1979, OCDLA has rented office space in Eugene. Now the association is looking to put down permanent roots in Eugene.

The OCDLA Board has made buying a building a priority and has set a goal of raising $100,000 to make a mortgaged purchase a reality.
